For Parents And Carers

Parents as partners
Ofsted praised our relationship with parents saying "partnerships with parents are outstanding" - (Ofsted June 2011)
Parents are children’s first educators. We aim to work together with parents to have a positive impact on their child’s development and learning.
- We welcome all parents and carers to bring any skills or interests they have to our group. Eg. Music or craft
- When your child starts Pre-School we will listen to your needs, be flexible and help your child settle in and feel secure. We will share information about your child’s progress by discussing their learning story assessment book.
- We complete home/preschool diaries
- We have a parent toy library, from which you can borrow toys free of charge
- We aim to keep you fully informed about our Pre-school by sending out regular newsletters.
Key Person
Your child will be allocated one or two key people when they join our setting.
A key person has special responsibilities for working with a small number of children and their parents. Please talk to them or the Pre-School leader if you have any concerns.
